New Designs from Nov 2017-Sept 2018

So I guess it's been a while since I posted. Not since I've been doodling, just posting. I've even helped get my sister going in her endeavor to learn this art form. We happened to have some days spent in a one room cabin (our distant cousins own it, but we've spent most of our childhood vacations there) and had some good quality down time to focus on what relaxes us. Here are some from the last year

this one makes me think of a Star that fell into a net.
Catch a Falling Star- Nov 2017
After the birth of my 11th granddaughter, Serenity Maria Nunez, and the death of my mom, Muriel Smith, I was preoccupied with clearing out mom's things, selling her house and really couldn't focus on much of anything.... Then ,,, the bug was back (hence the name).
The Bug is Back- May 26-2018

Not sure where this name came from.... just reminded me of old fashioned wallpaper in a bedroom, fluffy pillows, etc.
The Boudoir- Aug 2018

I sued staplers to trace for the strings, but it got it's name from the hidden 'eyes' in it.
Hidden, But Still Watching- Aug 2018

Traced the base of my tea mug (with handle) for the shapes of the strings. I also chose not to shade this one. I like it just as it is....
Mugs From Above- Aug 10, 2018

All the sharp points and the floral designs gave it it's name.
Garden Crevices, Aug 17, 2018

Obviously, I traced clothespins for the strings.
Clothes Pin Drop, Aug 22, 2018

This design should probably be on it's side to actually see the monkeys. Put the leaves in to make it appear as if they were in their jungle space.
Five Monkeys @ Home- Aug 28, 2018

But then it looks like Cows in a Pasture....
Tried a few new tangles and realized it looked "windblown"
Windblown, Sept 2018

This is a work in progress.... to be continued.

February Fun and March medley!

Still doodling strong.... not as fanatically, but then I'm feeling less stress. Very thankful for my support and my gift. The first two images show part of the process.

This is not started in the usual manner, but just wanting to 'test' a few new tangles, then grew (no pun intended) into the beginning of something good. The new tangles are Feria and flattery( with an addition on the top).
Trying to add something more so I like it better....
Finished. Yeah, I like it now.
"Flattery will get you nowhere"
 Done in April 2017...
"Sailin' Away"

"Lightly"
Trying out some new ones. I'm not sure I like the lower one yet, but maybe some doctoring up will help,
Add caption
yup. Liking it better. I love the ones at the top and the bottom the best.
"Climbing to the Top"
Trying out a couple of new ones with the protractor making circles.... I think the name will be "Juggling"
Not done yet, but getting there...
