It's new to me challenge- week 14- letter Q

Okay, here is the tangle that is 'new to me'.... Quareis in the upper right corner. interesting. I also made up a tangle... My grandson, Malakai told me I should make some 'tornadoes' (we were watching the tornados that hit the midwest on the news).... I threw some in and called them "Tornadokai's" (tor-NA-do- kies)... thought they were cute and easy.

It's new to me Challenge- week 13, letter L

This first one I did two weeks worth of tangles on it.... For this week's challenge, I did the Logjam (lower right side), but because I posted it for week 11 (I was playing 'catch up').

I'll do another ZIA with the legitimate "L" on a new one.LaBel is on the lower right side.... Other tangles are Showgirl, Henna Drum, JessiCup and Antidots.

It's new to Me Challenge- week 12 -letter O

Playing catch up kinda fun, but not when you're in the middle of Easter weekend and you're having Easter dinner tomorrow. Good pressure when it's relaxing... Windy outside and starting to warm up.  I started this ZIA in March, but just didn't have anything to add to the lower right side....

Organza! It works.... Also, there is Pi, a variation of Joy, and others....

It's new to me Challenge- Week 11 -letter B

I missed out posting one for week 9 & 10 and while I'm late to the party, I'm still gonna try and post one for week 11.This one is for week 11.... The letter B is Biscus (lower left side)

I call it "The Offering" ... kind of appropriate to post it the day after Good Friday, when Jesus offered himself upon the Cross. Just saying.

It's new to Me Challange, -week7- letter S

Okay.... There is a story to this one.

I started out checking out the patterns for an 's' tangle and I found one that I love... scrolled feathers. the perfect amount of swirl to it. (my style). My mistake is that I went into the other room and watched a movie as I did my ZIA, and I realized that the scrolled feathers weren't coming out like I thought and I REALLY didn't want to get off the couch and 'check out' the actual pattern, so I 'fudged' it.

Since I knew I did it wrong, I added something to make it into something else... you know the routine... and I think I designed an original one. I'm calling it ICU (I see you), since it looks like amoebas with eyes and antenaes on them.  Scrolled feathers is on the far left topside. My ICU falls along the right side...

This one I found in my piles of sketches.... glad I found it on Valentine's Day!

 This is the second black Zendala tile I've done, like it much better than first (you'll have to scroll through posts to see that one). Actually, I have this one upside down, but I like it that way....

 I think this was the original way it should be, since I signed it this way.... Haven't named it yet.

Week 5 Challenge-the letter M

This week's design has the pattern "Miander" running along the bottom right corner and through the middle.I did a variation on the bottom corner ones, but it's a nice filler!

This is now with some shading.... not done yet, but almost.

Suzy Mosh's "New To Me" Challenge-Week # 3-letter V

It was hard to decide which 'v' tangle to use, but I found one that WAS a challenge... it's the pattern in the upper right side , called Voga
This one I'm not sure what to call it.... Considering "Sneaky Flowers" since the daisies look like they came out of the vase and snuck behind the patterns to 'bloom'.  Really like it.
